Join Our Next Medical Mission Trip

African healthcare missions & beyond: help us bring physical and spiritual relief to underserved communities around the world.

It’s no small thing to travel abroad to serve Jesus.

I’m sure you have questions. I remember the first time I went on a medical mission trip. I had so many concerns, and I couldn’t imagine how I would make it happen around my everyday life and my schedule at work.

We address some of your biggest concerns in the video above and the content below. You can also read our FAQ, and please feel free to reach out to us with questions.

If you feel a tug in your heart to bring medical and spiritual relief to the underserved regions of our world, I’m here to tell you that God has been preparing you, and He will help you overcome the obstacles standing in your way.

– Sheri Postma, Founder, Mission Partners for Christ

We have been praying for you! Won’t you join us?

Are these trips safe?

We work with local partners in planning our itineraries. Their knowledge is invaluable in keeping volunteers safe. We also bring security on every trip.

We’ve been doing this for a while now! MPFC specializes in planning, organizing, and facilitating short-term missions for medical professionals, and safety is always top of mind.

Will I be able to afford the trip?

We keep costs as low as possible. Every trip includes meals, travel, and accommodations and, when possible, special tourist activities.

We help you learn how to raise funds for your trip, and participants are always in awe of how God provides. There are also scholarships available for medical and dental students.

Island In Indian Ocean

Island In Indian Ocean

June 21-30, 2025

This will be our third visit to this beautiful island location. The spiritual need is so great. There are less than 1% Christians who are believers in this country who meet, worship, and study God’s word in secret due to persecution. We pray and believe that this outreach will be pivotal in encouraging some of the current believers to carry the missionary work forward. If you have a heart for discipleship of new believers we ask that you join this team.

Considerable disparities in the standards of living exist between the people groups and becomes magnified between urban and rural populations.  The average annual income is US $2500. About half the population lives below the poverty line.

Despite a relatively high standard of primary health care and education, infant mortality is 54 out of 1,000 live births.  The child mortality rate is 73 out of 1,000 live births.  It is estimated that 7% of children on the island have acute malnutrition.  The life expectancy rate is 57 years.
