Meet Dr. Mark Paschall

Dr. Mark Paschall, a graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School in 1983, was born and raised in Detroit. He and his wife Kathy, along with their two children Emmy and Ethan, served at the Freewill Baptist Hospital in Doropo, Ivory Coast, West Africa in the 1990s. Since returning to the states, Kathy and Mark have been involved with ministries in Kenya and have taken 20 short-term trips between them.

Dr. Paschall recently retired from Henry Ford St. John Hospital in Detroit, where he served as the Vice-Chair of the Department of Family Medicine and was the Director of their Family Medicine Residency Program for 17 years.

During retirement, Dr. Paschall plans to increase his overseas work in Kenya and other countries in Africa. There are several teaching opportunities in residency programs in Kenya and he will now have more time and availability to be involved with those.

Together we can make a difference.
